The most important criteria in a B&B for us are 1) Cleanliness - Craigend is immaculate 2) Comfort - Craigend ticks ALL the boxes. 3) A warm and friendly welcome - You've met Heather? Nuff Said! The good food here is the icing on this B&B cake!  We'll give you 4 stars any day!  Oops. almost forgot - the best shower in ANY B&B! In fact, you ARE the best B&B we've stayed in!

We have had a wonderful time, booked for one night and stayed for three! It’s so peaceful and idyllic to be in the middle of the countryside and yet so convenient for the M74. Heather and John have looked after us exceptionally well, better than a 5 star hotel! Superb accommodation and looking forward to next time!

We had a spacious and warm room overlooking the garden and the bird feeders. The book of birds in the room helped with identification and we saw the red headed woodpecker three times! The variety of drinks supplied was much appreciated – Green Tea with Pineapple – lovely. We appreciated the warm welcome to a warm house. Wish we had stayed longer! Fantastic House, rooms & location. Our Springer Spaniel Tilly was made very welcome and enjoyed a refreshing dip in the river on arrival. Fortunately Heather stepped in with a dog towel to dry her off! Breakfast was lovely and set us up well for the rest of the day. We will certainly be stopping here again. Many Thanks.
